Robert D. Henry, ‘Bob’ Henry is the founder and principal of Robert D. Henry Architects (RDH-architects.com) an internationally renowned design firm specializing in wellness design – offering architecture, interior design and brand identity. Bob is called the “sensuous architect for serenity” for integrating the (5) senses in his work and creating an experiential journey for guests. He was inducted into Hospitality Design’s Platinum Circle for a lifetime achievement award for his innovative wellness design for both hospitality and residential work. Robert D Henry Architects (RDH-Architects) was founded in 1990 in New York City. Bob Henry has over 30 years of experience in wellness and spa design. He is called the “sensuous architect of serenity.” Projects include the Setai-NY, a mixed-use project located at 40 Broad Street; Obagi Skin Health Institute in Beverly Hills; Vdara Spa at City Center in Las Vegas; G-Spa & Lounge at the Hotel Gansevoort – New York, and the Spa at the Mandarin Oriental both in Miami and New York. He co-authored the book SPA: The Sensuous Experience and has been interviewed extensively on his expertise in designing for health, medical wellness and well-being.
