Biography
Allison Flatley, MS, has been committed to the health and fitness industry for 30 years. Throughout most of her career, she was focused on building, operating and growing corporate, residential, commercial, government and hospital-based fitness and wellness programs throughout the United States. Allison is an accomplished leader and experienced club operator. Today, Allison helps organizations with their strategy, marketing, business growth and client engagement through her successful Allison Flatley Consulting company. She currently serves as MWA Faculty and on the Club Solutions Advisory Board and Industry Advisory Council for the American Public University Sports and Health Sciences Degree Program. Allison served as Vice Chairman of the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) Board of Directors and President of the Mid-Atlantic Club Management Association (MACMA). For 14 years, Allison shared her industry knowledge and experience as an adjunct professor at American University, teaching the Fundamentals of Health Promotion as part of the Sports Administration graduate program. Allison is on the IHRSA Faculty, an international presenter in China and South America (ChinaFit, Fitness Mercado), and speaks at industry conventions (MWA, Club Industry, IHRSA, MACMA and NEHRSA). She enjoys mentoring and leading our future health fitness and wellness industry leaders. Allison is originally from Minnesota and earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Miami University.
